Hi,
I am using the latest Player and Gearbox from the SVN trunk and the hokuyo-aist driver to talk to two Hokuyo UTM-30LX lasers.
When I subscribe to the driver, it apparently works fine for a few seconds or a few minutes until the following error is received:
error : hokuyo_aist: Failed to read scan: (3) Bad response to GD command: 62 Hardware error: 62
Both lasers eventually fail, but not necessarily simultaneously
If I restart the player server, the laser again works ok for a while until the error is received again - I don't need to power cycle or replug the device.
I'm not 100% sure, but it seems that this error occurs mainly when two lasers are subscribed. With only 1 laser subscribed, it seems to run fine, or at least it runs fine for considerably longer than it does with both subscribed.
