Hello:
First off, thanks very much for the QuickQuote extension. For the most
part it is working very well here on my Thunderbird 1.0.6 setup. I've
been putting it through its paces and so far I've only come across one
issue that is troublesome:
~ When clicking on a URL within a message Firefox is no longer launched
like previously. Just to verify that something didn't change prior to
me installing QuickQuote I completely un-installed it and reloaded
Thunderbird, and opening URL's worked just fine.
So there appears to be something with QuickQuote that is causing this to
occur.
FTR I've tried both the second and third option types for *grabbing*
quoted material and it does the same thing with either setting - ie I
click on a URL and my hard drive light momentarily blinks, then nothing.
However, if I already have Firefox open and running, launching URL's
works as expected. But since most times I'm not running both TB/FF
together due to memory issues (they suck down RAM after having been
running for a while) I felt this was important enough to report it.
Specs:
Running the latest drop of QuickQuote on Thunderbird 1.0.6 along with
Firefox 1.0.6 under eCS 1.1 (OEM release of IBM's OS/2 operating system)
Thanks
