Hullo All,
I have experimented a bit more with the 'clean control points' button
in the 'images' tab, and using it does cause things to go a bit
haywire.
The project I used has two photos, each with a different lens. Using
the 'assistant', align reports a good fit. If I then use 'clean
control points', two control points are removed. Re-optimise gives a
slightly better fit but alters what were good parameters. The fast
preview displays the images off to the right and quite distorted.
I have uploaded 4 scaled down images in 'cpclean-test.tar.gz'...I
couldn't find a way to attach them to the posting.
test2-2009-4-nocpclean-scale.jpg shows the stitch that results without
using cpclean.
test-2009-4-cpclean-scale.jpg shows the stitch that results from using
cpclean.
test2-cpclean-2.jpg and test-2-cpclean.jpg show the fast preview
window after using cpclean and re-optimising.
They may be helpful.
Please let me know if more detailed info is needed.
Cheers,
Terry
