Problems with Jack

Hello. Running Puppy Linux 4.2 SMP with 2.6.29.1 kernel. ALSA 1.0.18a
jack-audio-connection-kit-0.116.1, qjackctl 0.3.2-1. M-Audio Ozone detected by Linux and plays sound.
Here's the Message form Qjackctl:

I think the Ozone isn't listed in Qjackctl, just my Tapco midi interface and that's the problem. Any ideas?

Looks like something else has the soundcard locked.

If another application is using the soundcard (KDE's arts,
GNOME's pulseaudio, GNOME's esd, Amarok, firefox, etc.) is using the
soundcard... then JACK will not be able to use it until one of those
programs releases it.
