Problems with Logitech Formula Force EX

Hi all,

sorry if this question was asked before, I'm new to this list.

I have Logitech Formula Force EX wheel. It works fine in Racer, but I
can't figure out how to make it work in Torcs.

I can define keys and calibrate wheel, but in race nothing works. My
distribution is Ubuntu 9.04.
I can play Torcs with keyboard but it will be nice if I can use wheel
and pedals.

Does somebody else have seen this problem?

Thanks

Andrei

Seems like known bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=433503

May be the next version of Ubuntu will have the newer version...

do you a test with jscal to calibrate. It's a very simple console program. It's in the repositories. After configured in Torcs.

I did. Anyway it's not a problem of a calibration. It works fine in Racer and Vdrift and I can assign controls and calibrate it in Torcs. It doesn't work when it's time to race.

I don't know if its relevant, but the same problem occurs on the Mac with a Logitech Extreme 3D joystick. It works correctly in other software, such as the flight sims I use, but not Torcs.
