Problems with my garmin colorado 300 device

Hello,
I have installed GPSbabel, but it doesn't recognize my colorado 300 device.
If i launch "lsusb" i obtain:

"Bus 002 Device 003: ID 091e:2295 Garmin International Colorado 300"

so my PC is connected with my device
but if i launch "gpsbabel -t -i garmin -f usb: -o gpx -F track.gpx" i
obtain this:

"Found no Garmin USB devices"

Reading GPSbabel user manual:

"The following Garmin GPS receivers are supported, but they do not
support Garmin communication
protocol and don't work with the garmin option. To use these
receivers, read or write GPX files from
the mass storage device as mounted on your computer.
Colorado 300"

and so i don't understand how to use gpsbabel with my device

That model already natively reads and writes GPX.  It shows up as a disk drive.  Copy GPX to and from it.    Whether you use GPSBabel to convert to/from that GPX or just use apps that natively know about GPX is up to you.
