Problems with the downloaded zip file

Hi all,

I have been trying to get pebble up and running but I am facing a weird problem. The downloaded zip file is always empty! It still shows that it takes up 27+ MB though. I have checked for viruses on my laptop but I couldn't find any - I could open other zip files normally. I tried an older version and a 2 different mirrors too but still no luck. I even checked out the source from jira and tried to build it myself but the build fails saying that there is no lib directory!! Its so frustrating that I can't just get a war file and explore pebble. Any thoughts?

Thanks
Manoj

Hi Manoj,

To build pebble from source you need to use maven, running "mvn
package" will do the trick.  As for the downloaded zip being empty -
how are you unzipping it?  Try using jar -xvf pebble.zip.

Cheers,

James

Hi James,

Thanks for replying. I got it working - I have been using winzip for unzipping the file and that was the problem. I extracted the contents using 7-zip and its all fine now. Dumb me! I should have tried this before sending the email.

Thanks, again.
Manoj
