Process Camera Lenses

I just returned from a short visit to Montreal where a friend gave me two process camera lenses. One of the graphics houses up there went completely digital. So I have two very clean lenses, both ILEX nu-Arc Wide Field Process Paragons; one is a 6 1/2" f:8 (a No. 134), the other is a 10 3/4" f:10 (No. 242, and weighs about 5 lbs!).

These lenses are too nice to relegate to paper-weight status. Does anyone have any suggestions for using them for other than their intended function?

Bill

There is still a reasonable, but shrinking, market for these lenses.  I bought one about 3 years ago for $25 at a flea market and sold it 3 weeks later for $300.  I suppose eBay or perhaps KEH would be good outlets.  I could not figure out any use for mine that a smaller, lighter lens would not do.

Bill,

Make a giant box camera or a camera lucida.

I also have some large lenses I wish I could give to someone who will
use them. They have no shutters.

Don,

Some pun! - Shrinking market because there is no enlarging market.

Gee, I wish I could say it was an intentional pun.
