Profile or content profile?

Hi all. I'm creating (for a client) a portal site. Now i need to manage
users. In my past email I have ask for a migration utility/script/module
from profile module to content profile modulo.

But now I have a question: why I need to use content profile ? I have
read that with content profile I can use cck fields (ok, tnx), but why ?
Profile is usable vith views, so I can (for example) create a view where
display only people from Italy.

When content profile is better than profile ?

Tnx.

Profile provides limited no of fields but with content profile you can add
all type of cck fields (file uploads, image uploads).

ok. One thing: why add file and image to the profile, when I can create
an apposite new content type for it ?
If I want to create an image gallery for the user I create a view based
on "content type images" where its user uid is the uid of the user X.

The same for the video: why insert a video in the profile users (content
profile) when I can create a content type video and link it to the user X.

I don't want to start a flame, profile vs content profile. I want to
know if I need to use content profile or profile. I have 50+ users to
import if will use content profile.
