Pseg - start from the middle

Hi

Hi is there a way to make a Pseg funtion similarly to IEnvGen, so that i
can start an "envelope" in middle way between start and end ?

Also, how can I stop the internal server from booting and creating a
window on startup and recompile ? and finally, what is the shortcut to
select the the block of code where the cursor currently is without
having to go to the parenthesis, so selecting from the middle of the
code block.
