I seem to have lost connection from alsa to the pulse sound, I can hear white
noise when sliding the volume controle but no sound in applications nor CD playback.
I did do some applicatin installing from the control center bu having installed
more than one at a time I have no way of knowing if an application busted things.
I didn't add anything concerning sound that I recall.
I get no error messages.
Anyone have a clue as to what may have happened?
