Putting GCC machinery into MinGW CVSI'd like to store the patches and build script for future versions of
GCC in the MinGW repository. This should facilitate collaboration on build issues, patching, etc. I see there's been some relatively recent discussion on VCS-related issues; where is the appropriate place to put this? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ MinGW-dvlpr mailing list MinGW-dvlpr@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mingw-dvlpr |

I assume the MinGW CVS repository on SourceForge. That's where all the mingw specific stuff is at the moment. w32api and mingw-runtime are on sourceware (possibly moving to their own repository under sourceware, which was the recent discussion), other than that the MSYS and installer stuff is on SourceForge. Cheers! If we intend to take him up on that, this would be a good place to start. What say you, Keith? Earnie? [*] not sure about the extent of this offer; whether it was strictly source-control repository stuff (e.g. CVS hosting) or also mirroring of downloadable files. I suspect just the former. -- Chuck ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ MinGW-dvlpr mailing list MinGW-dvlpr@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mingw-dvlpr |

Agreed, cgf has indeed extended this offer for MinGW, though as I understand it, not for MSYS. As Chuck mentioned, I leave it to the project admins for direction. I plan to move that to our NetworkRedux.com server eventually. File distribution is another option we can make easier with our NetworkRedux.com server. We have a cloud server that will grow as we need it to. -- Earnie ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ MinGW-dvlpr mailing list MinGW-dvlpr@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mingw-dvlpr |
