Query regarding gbrowse configurationDear GBrowse Dev Team, I found GBrowse2.0 really interesting and awesome when I started working on it. But I faced issues to customize the sections in the page as I don't require any sections other than "Overview" and "Details" Please suggest how can I disable or hide sections "Instructions", "Search", "Tracks","Add Custom Track" and "Display Settings". I want only two - "Overview" and "Details" - in my page. I google it and searched in GMOD forums, but I didn't get any solutions. Please provide me the way I can resolve this Thanks in advance Praveen Raj Bioinformatics Developer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Register Now for Creativity and Technology (CaT), June 3rd, NYC. Re: Query regarding gbrowse configurationDear GMOD Team, Thanks a lot for you support in time. I have one more query which is related to the links in the navigation table - both SVG_LINK and PDF_LINK, which are not coming. I have GD::SVG and Inkscape installed in my linux box, but still I would be able to see those links. Can you please help me out as this would be great requirement for research people. Looking for your valuable response. Regards Praveen Raj -- On Fri, May 29, 2009 at 3:28 AM, Dave Clements, GMOD Help Desk <gmodhelp@...> wrote: Hi Praveen, -- Praveen Raj S. Re: Query regarding gbrowse configurationhi Praveen,
What do you see? Are the links present at all? When you click on the links, what happens? Are the any messages in the error log? Do you know if your browser is capable of displaying SVGs? Re: Query regarding gbrowse configurationHi Scott,
Even I can't see the links !!! Both GD::SVG and Inskscape are installed and verified, still links are not coming. No error messages in the log file. Both $HAVE_SVG and $HAVE_PDF variables are still null even if GD::SVG and Inskscape are present. I am using both FireFox 3 and Netscape 9 for browsing. I want both SVG and "Download PDF" as it is big requirement for us. Is there any other pre-requisites for these links??
Please suggest a way to resolve this.
Regards
Praveen
