Question about Winning a Battle

Hey all,

This might sound like a really n00bish question, but please answer if you can.

Say if I was facing off against a Maxxor with 85 Base Attack and some discipline skills.  To win the battle against Maxxor, do I have to get just one discipline down to 0, all four down to 0, the base damage down to 0, or something I am missing altogether?

Sorry about this, but it has been confusing me.

Huh, base attack? Sorry, I don't get it... Maybe you mean 85 Energy?

There is 4 discipline: Power, Courage, Wisdom and Speed. Those appears on the left. There is also Energy, which appear on the lower-right corner of the card. This must go down to 0.

first its not base attack its base energey and you just have to hurt him to 0 energey

it's got nothing to do about lowering stats to win, you have to lower your enemies energy to 0. the energy is the big number on the bottom right.

i kno dis has notin to do wit da thead and it sounds sort of noobish too,but i have a question.

if u have magmon,with a viledriver,and the lavapond in play,how much damge is added to magmaons fire attacks such as an ember swarm?

actually i did the math on that earlier and i think it was 30 damage.

ok iam not sure but i can still get you what you whant for every +5 fire just add the 5 damage there is no limet and the card has to be fire5

30 damage?i think you might be right.im a fan of the underworld so i just had to know how much damage such a combo would do,though i doubt i will use it anytime soon.thanks guys(or girls?)

well lets see, magmon has 5 fire.
ember swarm is 5 + 5 fire
if you use viledriver its +5 fire
add in lava pond it has +5 on fire attacks and magmon gets +5 fire
so it's 5+10+5+10=30

in the top left or some attacks cause some have effects

some of them are made to lower your opponents stats so they cant use some of their attack or you can beat them with challenge attacks. others have challenges that say 0 base damage but if you make the challenge or check then you can deal the amount of damage listed. others will have elemental damage that if your creature attacking has those elements it can deal the listed element damage.
