To Whom it May Concern:
I'm developing an audio application for which we would like to offer ipod
support. The application is meant to simply read from the ipod, retrieve
metadata and playlists, and play music from it. The application is not
intended to modify the itunesdb of the ipod.
If I am simply looking to read from the itunesdb to get metadata and play
music but not modify it, will I have support for all ipod generations by
using libgpod? How about the iPhone and iPod Touch?
If libgpod is not the best way to implement this, what other options exist?
