Question on CAN

Hi,

We are facing problems in CAN communication in MPC 565.

We are using CAN_A for communication, I have configured Buffer 0 as transmitter and Buffer 1 as receiver. Rest all are configured as unused.

We are seeing that whatever we are transmitting in buffer 0 is received in buffer 1.

  Please provide me some solution

  Regards,
  John

From your description, I am assuming you have buffer 1 filter open for
all receptions.  In that case you are seeing expected operation i.e. the
CAN is capable of receiving its own transmissions.  This is a feature of
Toucan - on newer Flexcan implementations, you may disable self
reception.  The only way round this is to alter the filter to block the
transmitted IDs if possible.
