Question on config file paths

Hi Aparajita,

on reading the documentation I see that I can put the A4D INI files
into a folder called the "shared 4d directory".

Wich directory is that?

Sorry to ask, but GET 4D FOLER (Active 4D Folder) returns a user
specific folder and that cannot be it.
Wich 4D command would I have to use to determine that folder so I can
cmpy some file in there or present an editor to edit this file?

I want to be apble to check if the INI files are there, copy them into
that folder if not and present he user with a screen to easily edit/
configure the settings in that file.

Do all .INI files go in there?

TIA

Alex

The parent directory of 'Get 4d folder(Licenses Folder)'.

That directory is global to all users. If you want user-specific
configuration, use 'Get 4D folder(Active 4D Folder)'.

None, some, or all. It doesn't matter. Each .ini file is searched for
in the same search path, in the order mentioned in the docs.
