I've been meaning to ask this question for a long time ...
I use the TV Grid HTML links to schedule my PVR recordings using tv_grid.pl.
To schedule a recording, tv_grid.pl creates a new trigger using set_trigger.
A while back, maybe two years ago (or more), the set_trigger was changed which required
MH to restart each time. This causes a large pause while MH restarts. It's rather
annoying and the wife-acceptance-factor is very low.
Since set_trigger modifies trigger.mht, I can see how something needs to be evaled and
I can recognize its possible to require a full reaload of misterhouse.
Does anyone recall why this was done (set_trigger causing a reload)?
Is it really necessary?
Does anyone know of another means to schedule an event to occur in the future?
