Question to Jacob: Facelets status?Hi.
I can see no activity on facelets' dev page, there has been no update since 1.1.12 draft on december 2006. Jacob, could you kindly provide some info about development plans, milestones, schedules etc. for Facelets? If you think that there is such a need to make things rolling, maybe you need more contributors for this great project? Thank you for your great work! Re: Question to Jacob: Facelets status?+1 Facelets is a terrific library - incredibly intuitive and capable.
Our site was build using Facelets from day1, so we are most interested in the status of this project going forward. -nikita http://themusiclounge.com Przemyslaw Jaskierski wrote: > Hi. > > I can see no activity on facelets' dev page, there has been no update > since 1.1.12 draft on december 2006. Re: Question to Jacob: Facelets status? While facelets as part of JSF is good, it does not excuse the lack of
development, communication, or new committers for facelets. A few inactive committers and inclusion in a future standard is not enough to keep the facelets project alive and well. Since Jacob and other committers do not have enough time to work on facelets, they really NEED to invite more committers. Kito D. Re: Question to Jacob: Facelets status? One way those who wish to help could is with providing verification of
and testcases for issues. Over the weekend I applied a number of patches and fixed a number of smaller bug and plan to continue doing so when I have the time. I'm sure Jacob would jump for joy if provided with testcases he can easy run on his environment of choice for the bigger issues. Jacob would just need to give you access to comment on issues. Re: Question to Jacob: Facelets status?Yes, it's easy to apply for and receive access to the issue tracker.
I know I'm set up. All you have to do is request "Observer" status for the project. https://facelets.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectMembershipRequest On 4/10/07, Michael Youngstrom <youngm@...> wrote: > One way those who wish to help could is with providing verification of > and testcases for issues.
