I earlier downloaded QuteCsound (I don't know the version) for Intel Mac OS-X, but when I try to launch it, I get the following message in the crash log:

Library not loaded: /Library/Frameworks/CsoundLib.framework/Versions/5.1/lib_csnd.dylib

  Referenced from: /Applications/csound/qutecsound.app/Contents/MacOS/qutecsound

Reason: no suitable image found.  Did find:

/Library/Frameworks/CsoundLib.framework/Versions/5.1/lib_csnd.dylib: mach-o, but wrong architecture

I have been trying to download the current version from https://sourceforge.net/projects/qutecsound/files/, but every time I try, the download stops after 16K. I'm running system 10.4.11. Thanks for any help!

Looks like an error because of Intel-PPC trouble.
Perhaps you can check whether you not installed either the wrong
Csound-version or QuteCsound-version (PPC instead of Intel, or vice
versa)?

Thanks for the reply. Perhaps you can tell me how to check the version of QuteCsound, as I cannot find this information in the file info. In any case, as I said, I'm unable to download it from sourceforge. Is there an alternate download site? Thanks!

Safari Sourceforge Download Problems

I tested it and couldn't indeed download neither Csound nor QuteCsound
with the (new) Safari Browser. With Firefox no problem. Do you also
use Safari?
You should download Csound5.10-float-Intel-OSX10.4.tar.gz and
QuteCsound-0.4.1-OSX-Intel-incQt.tar.gz
Best -

Hi,

I don't know if there is an easy way to know if you have QuteCsound
for Intel or PPC (Does any one know?). But your problem is definitely
a mismatch between PPC and Intel binaries. I suggest you download
QuteCsound again. Sourceforge seems to be failing somewhat these days,
though ....

Cheers,
Andrés
