You should be able to edit the Sonatype.org wiki now. We can throw a link on the existing wiki until it gets moved over. Still working on the webdav.

Cool. I'd still like to post a link on a wiki, but maybe a sonatyper can do that on my behalf.

Ok. I think the webdav is working now, I just need to validate and update the pom.

The .org confluence is the one we want, the NX space was a holding spot until confluence got reinstalled on .org and I never moved it. I should have the webdav going this morning. Contegix figured out what the problem was last night. Justin if you just want a wiki, then sign up to confluence and I’ll give you perms.

Hi there,

I just put it there since it seemed logical to draft an initial "guide" in the wiki. Let Brian decide what the canonical place is :)

So Tamas posted https://docs.sonatype.com/display/NX/Nexus+Plugins on docs.sonatype.com, which makes it looks like that's the right place to post the Crowd Plugin doc. Really, other than the install document, the generated site isn't necessary.

We have docs.sonatype.org, but I’m trying to enable webdav for each project in the forge. Stay tuned.

Ach! I knew there'd be something else :)

docs.sonatype.com.

I assume I should be posting the plugin doc there, as there's no place to put the generated site. But docs.sonatype.com doesn't allow public signup.

Can you hook up me up with a login?

Thanks,

Justin

Geeze you keep telling me that and I totally forget everytime ;-)

That one we’ll have to work out, I never did make a space for it on s02.

One thing looks missing: location/login for generated site. Or should docs go on the wiki?

Max, please setup a new set of repos on rso for nexus-plugins. Make the same setup we did for plexus and for dojo on oss etc with respect to the targets, staging etc. Also make Justin an account as a nexus-plugins deployer. Max, then update the poms in svn.sonatype.org/nexus-plugins/trunk to have the staging distro and snapshots urls.

Justin, sorry I didn’t get this done earlier. Once you’ve got the access and the poms are updated, you should be able to do a release without anything more, correct?

*nudge*

Although now I'd like to do step #1 differently:

1) Downgrade nexus-plugins-parent to have nexus.version=1.2.0.2

Then step 5 becomes:

2) update nexus-plugins-parent (now version=2) to have nexus.version=1.3-SNAPSHOT

Hi Justin,

I just found both of your emails in our catch-all….so John never saw them. I’m looking  at this stuff now to get you setup. Nudge me again if you don’t get info by tomorrow….i tend to get interrupted a lot.

John-

Sorry to be a pain about this, but I'd like to move forward with cutting a release of the Crowd Nexus plugin. With 1.2.x approaching, I'd like to get the 1.1.1-compatible version released before looking at any potential refactoring.

What I think needs to happen before this is possible:

1) Update nexus-plugins-parent to have nexus.version=1.1.1.

2) Release nexus-plugins-parent version 1

3) Grant me deploy privleges on the release repository (http://repository.sonatype.org/content/repositories/releases, but should plugins really go there? if so, you'll obviously want to restict my rights to only release org.sonatype.nexus.plugins.*)

4) Set up site distribution management and grant me appropriate rights (this can happen either in nexus-plugins-parent or the individual poms, but you already know this).

I'm sure I'm missing something.

Thanks,

Justin Edelson
