The Apress book is a firstPress edition which is published
as a forerunner to the full book which will follow on and will explore Mule in
greater depth. So Tijs may well be right, depending on quite what you're
looking for.
This firstPress edition is intended to provide an
introduction to Mule 2 for developers new to the project. We've drawn on our
course materials to provide these users with a book that will to help them learn
Mule quickly and effectively. Our apologies for the delay, Ross is doing tech
review and has provided some excellent input that will help improve the book but
that does mean its taking longer to hit the shelves {:-)
The follow-up will explore Mule in greater depth and give
more advanced users some very interesting insight into Mule. More on this in the
coming weeks... in the meantime I haven't seen the Mule in Action book yet but
I'm looking forward to reading it :-)
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Peter.

You
are absolutely right about that. Both the Mule in Action as the Mule 2
book
from Apress will cover more Mule features. But I think the Mule in
Action
book will cover Mule 2 in more detail when I look at the number of
pages of
the Apress book (160 pages).
