Given that Busas still attract a premium price compared to other lump's
probably sensible to rebuild it. You're unlikely to find a decent one for
less than about £2.5k.
I rebuilt mine last year after a big end went. I used SEP

reconditioned the crank and supplied
new main shells. IIRC I think it cost me about £300.
My engine went on to develop a gearbox problem so I stuck a newer one in
but the plan's to rebuild the old one again.
Probably worth speaking to Powertec and second hand parts, they often have
quite a lot of stick.
