I love the ability to export from Troopmaster. I would love to see the
option to link my OUTLOOK or GMAIL address book to Troopmaster but at this
point I just export it from TM to import it into my outlook (and I could do
Gmail too).
I also have created a excel spread sheet that I use and do what people are
asking for.
On Tab one, I have raw scout data that I have exported from Troopmaster
Tab two, I have raw adult data that I have exported from Troopmaster
Tab three, I have a Troop roster printed as I want to see it, with all kinds
of formatting, blank lines every five lines etc
Tab four, I have a single page patrol roster
Tab five I think I have the email addresses broken out (I don't use that one
like I thought I would)
What I do, is drop the raw data in sheets 1 and 2 and then it populates the
remaining pages. I suspect you could do the same thing with an Access
Database too .
The bottom line, there is NO program that would do it exactly like we want
it to do, but one of the biggest advantages to TM is the ability to do this
type of customizing THANK YOU TROOP MASTER!. If anyone has any other neat
ways they use this export, that would be interesting to know to help all of
us. One I would like to see, is a OUTLOOK template in my contact list that
would mirror some of the info in TM, anyone done one yet?
