Glad to hear this is mostly working for you.

When I've seen this sort of situation, it often means there's a second
QSM relationship from your source qtree to somewhere else in the
dataset.  When that happens, ProtMgr will only update one of the two
relationships, so the other one lags.  That doesn't explain why a manual
backup clears the lag condition.

My second thought is there's a lag warning on the primary node.  That
might mean we're not trying to create snapshot copies on the primary
volumes, or we're trying and failing.  When you click the "Protect Now"
button, we'll create backups on every node we can, which might clear the
lag error.  If that's the case, you can use the "dfpm primary node set"
command to disable lag warnings and errors on the primary node.

You said you're running ProtMgr version 3.7.  I strongly encourage you
to upgrade to 3.7.1 -- we discovered a serious performance issue in 3.7
where one of our processes goes into a busy loop and uses up all your
CPUs.
