REST interface: how to close connections?Hi list,
I am running into (I am creating 17 SDE datastores using REST): ]:Can't create connection to shr-ipvl-ora009.ad.rws.nl[SDE error -7][Error desc=THE NUMBER OF SERVER CONNECTIONS IS @ MAXIMUM.][Extended desc= When is the database connection closed? Or how I can force this? Or how I can force this? As far as I know the connections are closed by the store itself when idle, but it takes some time and I don't know any way to actually force that manually. However I'm wondering why are you setting up so many stores. Do they really have different connection parameters? Is there any chance they can share at least the connection pool? (I know Gabriel has done work to allow keeping the pool in JNDI but I'm not ware of the details). Hopefully Gabriel will chime in a fill in the details. Re: REST interface: how to close connections?Hi Andrea,
the database user differs (every district of the government has their own user with specific rights in the database). The server and port are identical.
