I just looked in the NGS test server and UMD is not an option there.
Although UMD as a music/movie format may be dead in some parts of the
world, it is still kicking in Japan. See

for such a release from this month. Since other dead/abortive release
types are in NGS (HD-DVD for example), it would only make sense to add
another "major" release type.
