RFI: Dry Tortugas

I think my favorite place to bird in North America has to be the Dry
Tortugas.
We have gone there by plane which does let you fly over the other islands
and we seen Boobies on those islands.  If you tell the pilot what you wish
for, he tries to find it for you. We also seen Sea Turtles in the water
below us.
However, our favorite trip there was by boat and then we camped for two
days.  That was just next to Heaven.  You have the island almost to yourself
with a maximum of 8 camping spots.  Plus two whole days to enjoy one of the
best birding places we have gone to.
Our friends went with Larry Manfredi and they also enjoyed that trip.
Boating there gets you the sea birds you miss when you fly.
Our trips have always been in April though.
