RHEL 4u4 with no xorg-server installationI’m trying to build 0.8.4-2 on a system running RHEL
4.4, but Xorg 6.8.2 does not have a package for xorg-x11-server. The HOW-TO lists system requirements of a 2.6.9+ kernel and
Xorg 6.8+ as the minimum requirements. Is there something additional that
I need to do to build on this system? All of the builds on RHEL 5.3 succeeded, but this
workstation cannot be upgraded from RHEL 4 This e-mail, including any attached files, may contain confidential and privileged information for the sole use of the intended recipient. Re: RHEL 4u4 with no xorg-server installationRHEL 4.4 is the oldest OS we support now. I tested it myself sometime ago. So I know we can do that. But I don't have a system running 4.4 right now. Without a system to test, I can not see for sure which rpm you need to install. Do you have something like xorg-*-src.rpm on the source CD's? How are you building wacom.ko? Please share your ./configure options with us.
