MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine government in Paris paid respect to the late artist and poet Sid Gomez Hildawa who died last March at age 45 with a get-together at the Chancery last May 17.A statement on the Department of Foreign Affairs website said the soirée gathered local and visiting wordsmiths and musicians.Philippine Ambassador to France José Abeto Zaide said the event was entitled Alaala: An Evening of Spoken Word and Music in Remembrance of Sid Gomez Hildawa.
