Random Hangs

Running the latest Komodo IDE on Windows 7 with the project held on a samba mounted file system (and then an NFS mount from the samba mounted machine....), Komodo just sometimes hangs for no apparent reason with a dimmed screen and a spinning cursor. It never seems to return and I have to kill it and restart to continue. Any clues as to a reason?

Be sure to use Komodo 7.0.1 (or later), as Komodo 7.0.0 had a
performance problem with projects on a Samba drive.

Other than that, it might pay to disable network file checks "Edit >
Preferences > Editor > Detect when networked files are changed outside
the environment", as when that is enabled, Komodo will be synchronously
checking the file status from these network shares... which if there is
any network error or network latency will translate into Komodo
stalls/delays.

Definitely running latest version.

No, that is not set, nor is the local check either.

The hang seems to happen immediately after a mouse click - it never happens with keyboard interaction. Beyond that I can't be more specific as of course it happens randomly when I am working and thinking about what I am doing rather than the exact interaction.
