Jirka,

Just wanted to point out that I definitely like the new approach to netcat compared to previous years.  I think the discussions were more thorough now without people trying to make sure to earn enough points for a t-shirt.  I also didn't feel guilty on not helping out as much as I have in the past because there were so many more members this time through.

Keep up the good work.

Aaron

Hello everyone,

today I have some good news for you. I am sure that majority of you already know that NetBeans 6.7 was released today and since many of you put a lot of effort into this release we would like to recognize some of you. I have queried IssueZilla, mailing list archive plus other sources and calculated activity of each individual. The final and detailed comparison [1] is publicly available for your review. As promised in advance, we decided to recognize best 15 participants who will receive a special NetCAT 6.7 windbreaker!

In addition to that we wanted to give a special reward to top 3 contributors. In order to find out who deserves this recognition we asked NetBeans engineers and also you - NetCAT team to nominate the best participants. So, let me congratulate to the following 3 persons: Nigel Leck, Eric M. Smith and Daniel Sheppard. These guys will receive a unique NetCAT 6.7 sunglasses from us!

If you belong to the group of recognized people, please send me _privately_ your postal address so that I know where to send the reward _AND_ your preferred size: L, XL or XXL.

Finally, I would like to really thank to all who reported bugs, provided more investigations, shared own projects etc. You all together did an outstanding job and influenced quality of NetBeans 6.7 significantly. So, thanks a lot!
