Comment:
The debug version of pidgin does not install GTK+, and 2.10.6 is still
rather old (according to SourceForge we released it on Oct 18 2006). I
would suggest that you try installing the latest GTK+ version we ship
(though if your crash is gone you don't have to).
Since you say the crash is gone I'm closing this ticket.
