I've been listening to a Last.fm stream for about 30 minutes now, without
seeing any problem.

Could you run "banshee --debug" from a terminal, reproduce the problem and post
the output here ?

I ran a debug without using the Lyrics plug-in and received pretty much the same result as before (see attached). It seems to me as though even with the Lyric plug-in turned off, Banshee is still searching for lyrics for each piece. Is this correct?

I am sorry I did not attach the log, as requested before. Please let me know how to generate it, and where it will be located, and I will be glad to attach one in the future...

It would have been better to attach your log to this bug, but it's OK, I got
it.

Could you disable the Lyrics extension and see if it helps ?
I think you might be hitting this bug in mono :
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=399048

As both the Last.fm and Lyrics extension are doing HTTP requests at about the
same time, they might trigger the problem.

Start banshee in a terminal like this:
banshee-1 --debug

Then copy out the output from the terminal. Alternatively, you could do
this:
banshee-1 --debug --redirect-log

Then the log will be placed in ~/.config/banshee-1/log, and you can
upload that.

No, it looks like the Lyrics extension was not disabled. Did you go to
Edit > Preferences, Extensions tab, select the lyrics extension and
click "Disable" ?

I ran a new --debug, this time with lyric support completely disabled (Edit > Preferences, Extensions tab, selected the lyrics extension and clicked Disable). I ended up having the same problem with my Last.fm connection breaking after 10-20 minutes. Please see the attached log file.
