there seems to be serious bug with bug tracker on dev.tw.o after the
upgrade to Tiki 4

the user keeps rewriting the same tracker item while thinking it is a
new one :(

i got lot of them recently (as i watch the tracker5) with same itemId
but changed subject and all...

or maybe someone changed the tracker that users can edit only one item
per user ???

any ideas ?

Wish report: allow migrating files in file gals from db to file system (like in image galleries)

by Xavier de Pedro Puente-2 :: Rate this Message:

Reply to Author | View Threaded | Show Only this Message

While there is no confirmation message that the patch is applied and it
works... I'll submit some more bug/wish reports here:

Files in File galleries stored in db cannot be moved to file system, in
a similar way to what can be done with wiki attachments or images in
image galleries.

This is very useful and working nicely for image galleries... and it's a
pain in the ass migrating tiki sites from servers  where you don't have
ssh access to export-dump and import db from console, where many files
are in file galleries (in db).
I had to migrate 4 in the last week... (db dumps between 6 to 40 Mb),
and phpmyadmin is having "difficulties to digest " them, so say it
somehow...

So here is the wish for file galleries, if they have to replace image
galleries...

Cheers

Xavi
(the user that "kept rewriting bug reports" yesterday on dev.tw.o/tracker5)

P.S: Thanks sylvieg to take the time to fix it.
