Sorry Nicolas, I think you have mis understood the problem here. The
problem is not only with MCC here, but MCC shows the problem.
I previously explained on bugzilla
(
https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=41985#c1), why drakconf AND all
applications configured to appear in the System tab of kickoff menu,
don't appear in the classical menu
(
http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=809648).
It's a good design for kickoff, but with bads effects for simplelauncher.
This feature should be used only for kickoff and not for simplelauncher,
or simplelauncher should have a menu entry for System Application. We
have the choice between these 2 alternatives, and perhaps others.
The bugs or wrong features in simplelauncher concern mainly Mandriva,
because Mandriva currently uses by default the classical menu (it seems
that most of others distribs have made the choice to use kickoff, the
default menu in kde 4).
I don't say that the classical menu is a bad choice, I don't like kickoff!!
just my 2 cents.
best regards,
Luc
