Re: [Koha] Confirmed: Koha allows search in ChineseDear Carol, My library is going live with Koha in another couple of
weeks. Did you ever get your Chinese records to display in your Koha
catalog? I have gotten Arabic, Russian and Hebrew records to display from
their 880 tags in a bib display, but not the Chinese and Korean records.
Do you have any information that you can offer me? Many thanks. Re: [Koha] Confirmed: Koha allows search in ChineseHi Joanne,
Are you running Koha on a Windows server, or a Linux server? Unless you're running it on Windows, you'll want to subscribe to the more general koha mailing list as this list is specific to those running Koha on a Windows server As to the specific question about Chinese, there are dozens of examples of Koha sites running with support for Chinese characters, both types of scripts, as well as the latinization of those scripts such as PINYIN. It sounds like your server is not configured correctly for UNICODE. Perhaps your support vendor can fix this for you? :) Cheers, -- Joshua Ferraro SUPPORT FOR OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE CEO migration, training, maintenance, support LibLime Featuring Koha Open-Source ILS jmf@... |Full Demos at http://liblime.com/koha |1(888)KohaILS 2009/5/7 Joanne Mullowney <JMullowney@...>: > Dear Carol, > > > > My library is going live with Koha in another couple of weeks.
