works here. Is your file particularly long?
You can confirm the table plays using this instead of
loscil
a1 poscil 20000,sr/ftlen(1),1
(this will mix up channels in a stereo table and
the pitch will go 1/2 speed, but at least you will
get sound; to correct this you can split your
channels into 2 tables and have 2 poscils)
