OK, Mario.  Thank you for reporting this problem!

I have no idea what the problem is, or how to fix it, but I can repeat it
running

LANG=it ./rosegarden

It must have something to do with the localization mechanism.

We'll narrow this down to the keys C and B and assume once we figure out how
to get those working everything else should follow from there.

Typing in the US English keyboard layout in all languages, the letters C and B
work in English and Russian, but do not work in Italian, French or Spanish.

Changing the keyboard layout to Spanish (Spain) or Italian has no effect on
whether these keys work or not, so I'm just staying in English.

We'll have to see what we can come up with on this one.  I'll have to read up
on how translation of shortcuts is supposed to work, when I get a chance for
that much homework, which I don't have today.

That was interesting.  The problem turned out to be a conflict between note
name translation and keyboard shortcut translation.  C is a key on the
keyboard in English and a note name, but in Spanish C is a key on the keyboard
and Do is a note.  The shortcut was being translated as "Do" instead of "C"
and it also failed for every other shortcut in A..G for the same reason.
That's why B and C failed, but not Z or V.

I think I sorted it all out, but everyone should be on the lookout for note
names that are not translated properly.  I may have missed something, having
to search around and change this in at least three separate places.

I also fixed translating the note names in the add key signature dialog, which
seem likely to have been broken in 1.7.3 as well, and probably never worked.
