Let's just say ... I'm trying to smoke out the people with voting privileges
who don't even vote. And I've personally been taking some heat about sloppy
voting and releases (on the Apache Board mailing list).
In fact, that segues into another discussion ... as a PMC we are supposed to
have our own bylaws to set these procedures. I've been lazy about
spearheading that. I'm not very good in any kind of hierarchical
organizational structure.
I do think that as we add new committers, we outline their responsibilities
and ask describe the role of PMC members, and the upgrade path from
committer to PMC member.
