Hi,
File.setExecutable() does not exist for Java 5.
You're going to have to fork a chmod process. Or use a native solution.
Or drop support for Java 5.
A better alternative might be to change the GUI to launch gradle by
execing bash <script> rather than just <script>
Even better would be to change the GUI to not use the scripts at all.
