IMO, the non proxy hosts kinda makes no sense for me. Nexus is not a
"browser" (where you access many, and usually in advance not known
hosts). In Nexus, you _set_up_ a set of proxy reposes (for which the
HTTP proxy setting is interesting), and you do know them in _advance_.

The non proxy host would mean at app level, that your proxy repo _do_
inherit global proxy settings, but will not use it since the given
repo access a host in non proxy list. Kinda awkward and "inverted"
logic for me.

It is much more clean and "intuitive", to set up global proxy, and
simply tick a checkbox to _not_ use proxy for given repo.

My 5 cents.

Thanks,

Hrm, i meant "not inherit", and not "not use".

Very similar when you _do_ have defined HTTP Proxy on repo level (that
overrides the global). Same "override" mechanism would be used, but to
override to "empty" (don't use).
