Yeah, i think i know what that was for.... we were looking at connecting to Red5 from a screenweaver app (using haxe/neko) so as not to have to rely on RTMP over TCP.

We got as far as thowing byte arrays back and forth i think but not much further... if this is something we can do in Red5 now from Flash then i'm VERY interested in looking into it from both ends - especially as i'd already written a load of multi-user code for working over UDP (handling lost/out of order packets etc.) - seems a shame to waste it!

I'll give you a shout, paul, when i know more.
