Re: 2004.8 install problems - OS X multi-user

Putting 4D in the local user Applications folder isn't a great alternative for us.  It would involve changing our MCX settings and could create user confusion.  

Right now were running 2004.7r3 with the 2004.8 server and everything seems fine so far.  Any gotchas with this approach?  

Yes, let's hope for 2004.8r2 ;)

The only way to fix this was  
to copy the Client app to the User's Home Applications folder.

...Will do more digging... or wait for 2004.8r2...  
if it comes.
