Yes, that is what we have had to do, and although an annoyance, it's  
fine for our small number of machines that boot their own OS. However,  
it is not practical for our Netboot systems. There is a reason we set  
them up in a Netboot configuration in the first place. We have run up  
against this issue so many times with 4D. It would certainly be nice  
if 4D (and many other vendors) ensured their software worked with  
network accounts before releasing. Again, it's not like this is brand  
new technology.

Console shows that permissions are being denied when trying to execute
4D Client/Contents/Mac OS/4D Client
even though permissions for that particular file show full access.  
Must be something internal to that particular executable. I too have  
experienced the -5000 errors in the past which have been corrected by  
modifying the package content permissions, but this definitely goes  
outside of that. 4D needs to fix this.
