Sure, that's the same as my other laptop (the search is different due to
localization but it's the same) where I can see the battery monitor.

in the acer aspire one it isn't there (as many other applet I know are
installed) . Remember, this is 2009.0 with the latest upgrade to kde 4.2.4.
In theory it should be the same as the other laptop.
