My guess is, in order of most important
(1) Contributing good code and docs
(2) Guiding newcomers, and helping each other
(3) Donations
(4) Buying CD's.
(5) Buying other promotional stuff
Are the ways to strengthen the project, but each has it's role. Even
T-shirts add to the self-inspiration to make it fun to be part of.
They way I see it, OpenBSD seems to be like a giant canvas for each to
express part of their own creativity. Of course, it is also a community.
Moreover, like a town with it's schools and utilities, it builds it's own
infrastructure. It may not be entirely free form, it has that structure,
but then, so does poetry.

Great stuff. Is buying the CD and donation the best effort to support
stable-ports or are there more direct way to do so?
