sorry I do not know your real name.
 
I completely agree with your opinion, we prefer to use the old tools which are reliable and easy to work with.
As for me, I use Windows and do not want even to think about changing it by Linux. Linux is too difficult for me to understand :)
 
I think that GIF will not loose its positions in the short run, we can't predict how the situation will change in future.

I was also using JPG and Gif till a couple of months ago - but the only reason was, that I did not know about PNG. Now that I saw the advantages, I use it in most cases.

Kahuki Yes, PNG is more useful than JPG and GIF.
I also use it more.
