I hope that I am not too late to offer my 2 cents worth on Quark, Antarctica
& an insurance company.
We traveled to Antarctica with Quark, and as others have posted, they are an
excellent company to do business with. They have excellent naturalists,
interesting speakers, good accommodations & food.
Antarctica is gorgeous! The birding is excellent, although, as you get
closer to the continent, the seabirds are scarce. If you visit the
Antarctic Peninsula, going by way of South Georgia islands is a real treat.
If you leave from Australia or New Zealand, the scenery is exquisite. If
you want more information, I will be delighted to elaborate on one of my
favorite places in the world!!! My husband & I visited the peninsula side
first, and then took a Russian ice breaker (Quark) to the Ross Sea side.
As for the insurance company--I can assure you that CSA is an excellent
company. We have used them for years, and their service cannot be beaten.
Yes, they are slightly more expensive than other companies, but they deliver
what they promise. Unfortunately, I have had to use their services. Again,
I can elaborate, if you wish.
