well at $1500 its not likely I will get R2 to purchase (I would have to twist some arms for the $495 license). It was mentioned they were bundled together, so I thought I would get App builder with ArcPad for only $495 (unfortunately that's not the case).
Right now I'm not even sure if I would have time to delve into ArcPad development, or even if it would be of use to DFG to go that route. But, if we had an ArcPad license (and it had app builder), we would at least have the option to consider it.

We still need to clarify if DFG has 1 or more licenses for said product already as part of our whole license deal. I have been told that some dev kits of some kind did come with our other purchases.
Of course if you are thinking of getting one also make sure to go through BDB since tacking it on to our current license holding would likely result in a discount of some kind. Who knows, maybe we can even put it on a floating license so several people can test it out, at different times of course.
